SIR House is a 9-bed sober living residence in Pasadena, TX for women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. We are a safe, structured living environment for women who have been sober a short time and need stability and support in setting and maintaining recovery goals and commitments. We are a healthy alternative to going from immersive care straight to completely unstructured circumstances.
Our core philosophy is that we cannot recover alone and connection is key to lasting recovery. SIR House offers a supportive environment and shared peer experiences that foster a strong sense of community, accountability and encouragement essential for contented permanent sobriety.
We assist our residents in becoming productive members of the community by developing and practicing recovery principles while gaining confidence and independence. We emphasize structure and accountability to assist our residents in growing mentally, spiritually and socially. Residents develop a sense of responsibility by adhering to house rules, paying rent and participating in communal activities. They learn to prioritize and balance, work, school, leisure and recovery efforts.
While we are not a medical facility SIR House complements clinical and medical treatment for women’s addiction recovery. We focus on emotional wellness, spiritual growth and building a strong recovery network within the 12-step community.
