In May 2014, Any Length Recovery Residences opened its first women’s residence, fulfilling a need for affordable, safe housing for women in early recovery. We provide structure and ... moreaccountability to our residents in an effort to help them maintain and strengthen their recovery. We offer individual and group recovery support services, as well as opportunities for fellowship with women in the home and in the recovery community at large. The women’s home activities include: prayer and meditation each morning; a weekly women’s Big Book study; weekly house meetings; and, independent living skills, such as daily chores and time management. Through offering a supportive and nurturing sober living community, we are focused on assisting our residents achieve long-term sobriety and become productive members of society. Any Length has a gym in the garage, a walking trail around the neighborhood, and a community swimming pool.

Understanding ... moreour role in the continuum of care of women in early recovery, we endeavor to support the process begun by the team of professionals these women have enlisted in the process.
Working as member of this team, we ensure that our referrals continue to meet the commitments they’ve made, such as discharge plans, aftercare plans, continued outpatient treatment, ongoing therapy with clinicians, continued psychiatrist visits if applicable, family therapy, workshops, court-ordered obligations, and many other elements of accountability.
We are also committed to keeping our referring professionals and the families they’ve recommended us to fully informed of their patient’s progress through regular reporting and immediate reporting when issues arise. We know that these professionals are an important part of the overall effort, and can often be very helpful in keeping progress going forward. Further, success of the patient as they continue internalize and practice recovery is useful to our referents as they review and analyze their outcomes, and we realize the importance of this feedback.
Early recovery is a fragile process. We at Windhaven House Dallas sober living go the extra mile to help our program participants be successful. When they are successful, the family, the referent, Windhaven and all others involved are successful and the disease of addiction is not. We are fully aware of the life or death errand at hand and will do our very best.

There are many different types of Dallas sober living homes, some of which offer an extremely affordable option but unfortunately offer little or no structure, guidance or support. For those familiar with the processes of addiction and subsequent recovery, you know all too well how the “addict mind” operates and its ability to manipulate the individual into believing that which has been proven untrue and very damaging. Couple with that the reality that life’s day-to-day hurdles will often trip up the newly recovered addict/alcoholic and all of a sudden the unfortunate act of relapse lays within the client’s very near future. At Skylight Sober Living for Men, we believe that change is possible and that our sober home empowers the individual to embrace a completely different ... moreway of living. By limiting the number of residents in our program, we create an environment of encouragement from within the community that helps the individual develop the tools needed to achieve long term sobriety.
Located in North Dallas, Skylight Sober Living offers two distinct sober houses - one specifically for young adults and one for working professionals.
We offer residents upscale amenities such as private and semi-private rooms, media room, gourmet kitchen, spacious living areas, Jacuzzi jet tub, heated floors in master bath and a recreation room with a pool table. Both of our transitional homes are over 3400 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to eight residents.
At Skylight, we understand that the road to addiction recovery is not easy or simple. Many of us would like to believe that once we got a glimpse of clean and sober living, we would shift permanently and continue our life journey, free of struggle and pain. What we have discovered instead is that true drug and alcohol recovery, like any path of spiritual growth, is not a one-time event. We have to continuously face and move through many issues to reclaim our dignity and lives. Skylight is a safe haven for men who are looking for a sober living environment that is conducive to both personal and spiritual growth.

Find the best halfway house or sober home for you or your loved one. We put each home through a vetting process to ensure the ranking will assist you in finding the option that is best for you. Homes are evaluated by user reviews, treatments center reviews, and our own standardized process.
