At Patton Sober Living we focus on healing the Mind, Body and Spirit. It's our belief that addiction takes time to heal. Our Founder & CEO, John Patton, has created a program designed ... moreto help young adults succeed. Through his personal and professional life experience, John has come to understand addiction as a disease that can be treated over time.

All Patton Sober Living staff are in recovery and are passionate about helping our residents live a fun, sober life. We realize that it takes structure, accountability and support for this to occur. At Patton Sober Living, we view our work as more of a calling than a job. The disease of addiction is real, but if treated properly it can be overcome.

People often complete 30, 60 or 90 days of inpatient treatment and immediately feel they've been healed. The fact is, individuals who leave treatment and immediately return to their old environment are significantly more susceptible to relapse. Research shows that the number one factor in a young adult's successful recovery from addiction is peer support post inpatient treatment.

Patton Sober Living provides a safe, structured environment with the peer support necessary for long-term recovery. A highly structured sober living home with much needed accountability is instrumental in continuing the transformation which begins in inpatient treatment.

Please feel free to contact us at anytime. All calls are strictly confidential. If we're not the right place for you then we'll help you find the place that is.

Welcome to Gratitude House of Dallas, TX – An upscale & structured transitional sober living home for men in recovery from drug addiction, alcoholism and dual-diagnosis issues. ... more

The Dallas/Ft Worth Area has become well known for its broad array of notable and highly recognized addiction recovery resources. From drug rehabs to transitional sober living homes and various independent recovery resources, there is no shortage of options here for those whom are within the grips of addiction and/or alcoholism. As the science of recovery and its many forms makes new strides, we at Gratitude House continue to focus on integrating both, classic recovery principles along with new formulas & approaches in helping our residents build new lives and strong foundations in their new-found sobriety!

There are many different types of Dallas sober living homes, some of which offer an extremely affordable option but unfortunately offer little or no structure, guidance or support. For those familiar with the processes of addiction and subsequent recovery, you know all too well how the “addict mind” operates and its ability to manipulate the individual into believing that which has been proven untrue and very damaging. Couple with that the reality that life’s day-to-day hurdles will often trip up the newly recovered addict/alcoholic and all of a sudden the unfortunate act of relapse lays within the client’s very near future. With most residents arriving at Gratitude House with minimal sober time under their belts, the life-changing principles involved in the process of recovery often means a complete mental shift and major changes in thoughts & actions

Welcome to Skylight Sober Living At Skylight Sober Living for Men, we believe that change is possible and that our sober home empowers the individual to embrace a completely different ... moreway of living. By limiting the number of residents in our program, we create an environment of encouragement from within the community that helps the individual develop the tools needed to achieve long term sobriety.

Located in North Dallas, Skylight Sober Living offers two distinct sober houses - one specifically for young adults and one for working professionals.

We offer residents upscale amenities such as private and semi-private rooms, media room, gourmet kitchen, spacious living areas, Jacuzzi jet tub, heated floors in master bath and a recreation room with a pool table. Both of our transitional homes are over 3400 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to eight residents.

At Skylight, we understand that the road to addiction recovery is not easy or simple. Many of us would like to believe that once we got a glimpse of clean and sober living, we would shift permanently and continue our life journey, free of struggle and pain. What we have discovered instead is that true drug and alcohol recovery, like any path of spiritual growth, is not a one-time event. We have to continuously face and move through many issues to reclaim our dignity and lives. Skylight is a safe haven for men who are looking for a sober living environment that is conducive to both personal and spiritual growth.

Oxford House is a concept in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. In its simplest form, an Oxford House describes a democratically run, self-supporting and drug free home. Parallel ... moreto this concept lies the organizational structure of Oxford House, Inc. This publicly supported, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation is the umbrella organization which provides the network connecting all Oxford Houses and allocates resources to duplicate the Oxford House concept where needs arise.

The number of residents in a House may range from six to fifteen; there are houses for men, houses for women, and houses which accept women with children. Oxford Houses flourish in metropolitan areas such as New York City and Washington D.C. and thrive in such diverse communities as Hawaii, Washington State, Canada and Australia; but they all abide by the basic criteria.

Each House represents a remarkably effective and low cost method of preventing relapse. This was the purpose of the first Oxford House established in 1975, and this purpose is served, day by day, house after house, in each of nearly2000 houses in the United States today.
